Beginning Tumbling:

Beginning Tumbling is an introductory class and no prior experience is required. Students will learn the basic skills and shapes needed for floor tumbling. Forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, backbends and kick-overs, and round-off drills will be introduced and eventually mastered. Students will work on strength and flexibility as well as basic trampoline safety.

Intermediate Tumbling:

Intermediate Tumbling will build on the foundation developed in the Beginning Tumbling class. Students should have a basic understanding of tumbling terminology and be able to demonstrate front and back walkovers, correct handstand body alignment, and a solid power hurdle to cartwheel step-in. Students will increase strength and flexibility, speed, and power and will start flip rotation progressions. Skills will start to combine to create tumbling passes as proper round-offs and handsprings will be mastered.

Advanced Tumbling:

Advanced Tumbling is an upper-level class. Students will perfect form, technique, skill development and increase strength and flexibility. Students must be able to demonstrate a standing back handspring and a connected roundoff back handspring and will build on these skills. This class will introduce front and back tucks, pikes and layouts, and front and side aerials as well as start connecting multiple skills together to form more complex tumbling passes.

Elite Tumbling:

Elite Tumbling is by invitation only. Students must have a solid tumbling background and have been invited to move up from the Advanced Tumbling class. This class will teach front and back fulls, 1.5’s and doubles. Double front and back tucks may be introduced as the student is ready. Front and back tumbling passes become more complex. This is an open-ended class with the ability to learn as much as the student’s ability allows.
